This is the English-language version of the popular “Glühwein-Krimi” Christmas market tour.

The Glühwein-Krimi (Mulled Wine Mystery) on the International Essen Christmas Market!

Between the scent of mulled wine, the glow of lights, and the cheerful Christmas bustle, the market stallholders compete every year for the “Winter Crown” – the title of the most popular stand of the season. The 2025 favourite: Rudi Racken, operator of the iconic mulled wine stand “Der heiße Hirsch” (“The Hot Deer”).

But shortly before the grand finale, Rudi suddenly collapses. A mysterious note with the message “Time + Zodiac = Poison?!” raises serious questions. Was it an accident – or something more sinister?

Take over the investigation and follow the clues. Can you save Rudi in time and uncover the culprit? Warning: not everything is as it seems…
